Still havent been out taking shots. Really scraping the barrel now. No tripod, windy day on the side of the road so its fuzzy. I got fed up of looking at the last shot!
About sculpture: If one sculpts by carving away everything that doesn't resemble the subject, what happens if you pick a block that never had any of the subject in the first place? Does it all just vanish?
Lilith: I think its like an embryo, as it develops it goes through all the stages it's Dna has; fish, banana etc, until it settles on the final creature. Mine is at the gill stage. Vanishing is still a potential.
I'm never going to be able to look at bales like this without remembering the four that fell off the back of a wagon .. just in front of us a few weeks ago, thank goodness we were far enough behind for them to miss!
This is a great shot, a good talking point. Do you think the leaning one on the right is trying to escape?
Lilith: Ellie! how nice to ear from you again. Hope you are back with us shutterchancers. Thanks for visiting.
